What is MarketsConnection? 

It is a Canadian ecommerce site where distributors can buy and sell from distributors.  We facilitate the 

connections virtually and support the distributor-to-distributor sales.  We do not inventory or sell any 

products ourselves. 

Who is behind MarketsConnection? 

MarketsConnection is a private Canadian corporation founded and owned by two long time industry 

stalwarts.  We are proud to be a part of the Canadian wholesale distribution market. 

Does it cost money to participate on MarketsConnection? 

 There is no cost to buy on MarketsConnection other than the product and shipping costs.  We do require 

the submission of a simple application to ensure that you are a distributor. 

Selling on MarketsConnection will require paying a commission on sales.  We have a variety of pricing 

plans to accommodate higher volume vendors who are making a commitment to MarketsConnection. 

Who is selling on MarketsConnection?   

MarketsConnection is an ecommerce marketplace where Canadian Business-to-Business distributors sell 

to other distributors. 

Can manufacturers, agents or brokers sell on MarketsConnection? 

No.  To maintain the pricing integrity on MarketsConnection, products must be sold through a distributor.   

For a manufacturer, agent or broker to sell on MarketsConnection, it is recommended that they work 

through a distribution partner.  If help is required to connect you with a distributor, we can facilitate that 

connection. 

Can end users or households buy on MarketsConnection?   

At this time, MarketsConnection exists solely to support the sale of products from distributors to 

distributors.  At some time in the future, we may consider adding additional functionality so that 

distributors who would like to sell to end users/households may add that to their product listings.

How should I price my products on MarketsConnection? 

Distributors shop on MarketsConnection for value and have a good sense for what the original cost of a 

product may have been.  It is best to price your offerings aggressively for immediate sale. 

Can U.S.A. based distributors participate in MarketsConnection? 

At this time as we scale up, we are limiting ourselves to Canadian distributors. 

It is our plan that there will be a future U.S. expansion. 

Can I contact a vendor or buyer outside of MarketsConnection to try to negotiate a better deal? 

We discourage this activity.  The commissions we earn are required to pay our expenses, maintain the 

site and also market the site to increase the potential of sales for our vendors. 

A violation of our policies may see a vendor or buyer banned from the site.
